After more than four decades of tireless dedication to the South Florida community, Ramona Coronado, co-founder of Pronto Income Tax, will officially retire in July 2025.
Her retirement follows a graceful, phased transition over the past year and marks the beginning of a new chapter, both for her personally and for the company she helped build from the ground up.
Before founding Pronto, Ramona served as an accountant at Coronado Accounting & Tax (CAT), where she began cultivating the values that would define her legacy: service, family, and trust. Those same values shaped Pronto Income Tax into a firm that not only delivers tax expertise but also offers clients peace of mind.
Ramona has always believed that “numbers matter, but people matter more,” and her clients felt that in every interaction. Her impact extended beyond business, earning her a Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of her role in financially empowering Miami’s Hispanic community.
We are proud to share that Michael Coronado, her son and long-time Managing Partner, will continue to lead Pronto into the future. Michael has been instrumental in modernizing operations, expanding advisory services, and deepening our client relationships — all while upholding the spirit of service that Ramona instilled.
What does this mean for you as a client?
No changes. You’ll continue to work with the same trusted team, in the same reliable way, with the added confidence that Pronto’s legacy and leadership are stronger than ever.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing photos, memories, and client stories that highlight Ramona’s incredible journey. We invite you to be part of the celebration by sending your well wishes to thanksramona@prontotax.com or tagging #GraciasRamona on social media.
Ramona’s impressive career may be coming to an end, but her legacy and influence will remain the cornerstone of our very existence.
Thank you, Ramona — from all of us.
